Skiing in the Mountains

Here's me, just after a nice snowfall. In the Sierra Ntl. Forest near Grant Grove, CA. The elevation here is about 6800 ft.

Kate and I preferred skiing the forest and breaking our own trails rather than follow those made by grooming machines.

Our little cabin with fresh fallen snow is near Grant Grove.

In this meadow the snow was about two feet deep.
